Paper Robots
Paper robots are easy to make,mine is awesome! We needed to cut out little squares.mines called Robert square. We were learning about Area and Perimeter.

Grandmama And The Wolf.
Yesterday we read a poem called Grandmama And The Wolf. It was very funny. So today we are describing the characters. My favourite character is Grandmama because at the end of the poem she marries the wolf. Ha ha! It's so funny I can't stop laughing. I am writing in my writing book the describing words: People think she is old and sick but she is not. She maybe old but she is healthy.
Books,books,books.
In Room six we all LOVE books. We have books galore. If we have finished our work we are allowed to read and that is what we do. We have a book shelf that we take books from but we have to put our book back were it came from when we are finished with it. We are very lucky. If you come and join us in room six, you will be lucky too. I hope you do because we love to make new friends. And you will have a good time too. Back to books. They're lovely aren't they? I hope room six gets more books so we never run out or get bored with the same books all the time. It is good Mrs B likes books.
Early In The Morning
We are doing strand maths. Today it's measurement. And in measurement we are doing Weight. We are weighing are lunchbox's and drink bottles. Everything in our bags. Our teachers are teaching us. And when we say "teachers" we mean Mrs Beldham and Mrs Bracken. Wow! Very interesting. We are weighing our stuff on electronic scales. We have two of the electronic scales so two people can weigh their stuff at a time. It is very cool. So much grams in measurement I can't stop. I am so excited. I love measurement! We discovered there is 1000 grams in 1 kilo.

All about lovely room 6
Here we are the amazing room 6 on a rainy day sitting down on the silent mat not a touch not a move. We are doing the roll Elle is calling our names. We are about to go to the assembly we are finished the roll. Mrs Bracken is taking a funny photo of us pretending to sneeze on a cold winters day. We are having fun with our lovely teacher Mrs Bracken she is a kind teacher we are glad to have a lovely teacher. I like doing art with our teacher she is amazing.
Room 6 Doing Curriculum Rotation- Printing
Hillary are doing rotations and room 6 are doing art and for our art we are doing printing first we drew some pictures and then we draw them again on something other then paper and role paint over and put down on paper and then you will see your picture with paint.
Room 6 Doing Doodle Art
On Wednesday an illustrator came to our school his name is Bruce Potter (his brother is Hairy Potter) we think! Bruce Potter came to our school because it's just about book week. He a came because he was going to show us how to doodle you just let your imagination run away and just draw.He also taught us about negative spaces negative spaces are spaces where there are nothing in it so try and fill your negative spaces up.

Here is room 6 doing there curriculum rotation printing. We are having fun doing are art we are putting lots of detail on our art. We our working very hard. Some of us are panting are art getting ready to paint.

The art work with Mrs Bracken
Mrs Bracken is helping us to do a display for the Wings over Waikato library display. First we drew the pictures then we used soft pastels to decorate our images.
Art time
We are having fun making our feather art for book week display and name sheets for our writing to be displayed on the wall. Fun Friday!!
Pokupo 1 Art
Today we coloured in some feathers for book week display. We had to use crayons and scissors. That was awesome.
